Acts 1:8 – “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Before Jesus ascended into heaven, He left His disciples with a command. In the power of the Holy Spirit, they were given the most awesome task of proclaiming the only message that saves: the Gospel of our Risen Savior! If you study through Acts, you will see this verse become both the theme and roadmap of the 1st Century church. WE ARE BLESSED TO CONTINUE THAT WORK TODAY, PROCLAIMING JESUS CHRIST TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH.

One of several great opportunities to do just that is at VBS. During this week, there will likely be kids and parents on our campus who have never heard the Good News. Join us this summer as we seek to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus all week, making and teaching disciples in our own Jerusalem, and maybe even our Judea and Samaria.
