Hickory Withe is growing—big time. This is a great thing. But with growth, comes growing pains. Growing pains we can praise God for because they’re the best problem to have! Through this growth:

• We’ve exceeded our capacity for Life Group and training classrooms
• Have no dedicated, multi-purpose FellowshipHall space
• Our student ministry is meeting in a room far too small for them and doesn’t meet the need to effectively reach middle and high school students
• Our current Gymnasium is too small to effectively reach the community through basketball leagues and other sporting activities
• Our staff has grown and we have had to find places for offices all across campus, including turning closets into offices

We’re not complaining. God is doing a great thing at Hickory Withe! To solve these problems, we look forward to our next building phase—Greater Things: Life=Changed. This phase will add spaces that promote life change! Lives are changed through deepening one’s faith in Life Groups, fellowship, student ministry, and recreation.

This phase will include:

• Replacing the middle building with a new fellowship hall, classrooms, commercial kitchen, lobby and welcome center, and pre-function area
• Retrofitting our current gym with additional classrooms
• Renovating our office wing for many more offices
• Building a new building for a stae-of-the-art gymnasium
• Building a student center under the new gym with two, hi-tech worship rooms and classrooms for students
