I have given my life to Jesus Christ.

Before I started going to Hickory Withe, I wasn’t really involved with any church activities. I would go to Bible study at other churches during summer but that’s the only time I would really go to church. I would never read the Bible just because I knew I should or because I wanted to. Earlier this year, I had this sudden urge to be more involved in church. A few months into going every Sunday, I joined HW Students. BEST IDEA EVER.

I have made so many great friendships with people that will lead me to better things, and want me to grow closer with God. I went with HW Students to FUGE Summer Camp, and let me tell you, I have never felt so amazing. Everyone there was encouraging you to grow with the Lord. So many amazing friends were made at FUGE. Honestly the messages really got to me at FUGE, and it changed my point of view of almost everything. After FUGE I realized I wasn’t done showing my love for him. I decided I wanted to live for him.

On July 3, my birthday, I walked up during the invitation during Sunday Worship and I was baptized July 24. I honestly can’t imagine how life would be if I didn’t start going to Hickory Withe. Everyone there is amazing. They like to say, “Church is not a place you go to, it’s a family you belong to.” I absolutely agree with that, this church is like one big family that loves Jesus. I am so thankful that he has showed me how amazing his love is, and how amazing he is. He is the answer to everything. This past week I have seen that my prayers are being answered. His work is outstanding. I am so excited to know I am going to heaven. Anyway, the main point
of this is JESUS IS AMAZING.
