Jesus said these words almost 2,000 years ago, and they still ring true today. The workers for the spiritual harvest of souls are still few. We seem to have reduced the Great Commission down to inviting someone to church or living a good life and hoping someone notices. Those are good things but that’s not evangelism. That’s not obeying what our Lord has called us to do.

It’s time for us to answer the call to share the Gospel with a lost and dying world. It’s time for us to love Jesus so much that we can’t help but share the Good News with others. It’s time for us to care more about the eternal destination of our friends, family, and neighbors than we do our own comfort. It’s time for us to have the compassion of Jesus for the lost.
