THE HEARTBEAT OF GOD IS TO REDEEM PEOPLE FROM EVERY TRIBE AND LANGUAGE AND PEOPLE AND NATION. God has designed us to be a part of His mission to get the Gospel to every people group on the planet. God has saved us and called us to impact others with the Gospel. We were made for missions!
Last week we had a mission team serving in Medford, Oregon. We worked with Living Hope Church, a church plant in Medford where less than 2% of people attend church! We were able to impact the community through service projects at local schools each day and through VBS each night. We were able to share the love of Jesus with our words and in practical ways.
God is clear that he didn’t save us to hunker down in our church and live out the rest of days for ourselves. God has saved us and blesses us in order to proclaim the Gospel in our communities, our nation, and to the ends of the earth. Missions isn’t a program of the church. Missions is the ultimate purpose of the church! Inside every follower of Jesus there should be a passion to see every people group & language & nation worship & glorify the name of Jesus! WE WERE MADE FOR MISSIONS!
