Discipleship

"Success should be measured not by how many disciples are made, but by how many disciples are making other disciples." —Bill Hull

Discipleship is the key ingredient to success in the church and in our lives. Without discipleship we very well would be wandering aimlessly on our own trying to figure everything out. Discipleship is the process of becoming like Christ. As we live each day we can grow together in this process, in this goal. As we are called to, “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you…”

The primary task that we are commanded to do by Jesus is to make Disciples.

At the end of February we have KAIROS WKND for our students. This is a DNOW or Disciple Now weekend. It's designed to bring students together from around our community to worship Jesus, to grow in that relationship, or to respond to the Gospel for the first time. All this is followed with intentional small group time to ensure these students are seen and heard. Ultimately our goal is to see students respond to this weekend with a refreshed spirit or a new life experience with a desire to grow deeper in their faith and choose to make disciples as they move forward. As we all grow in our walk with the Lord let us remember that we are not called to just do this alone, but together as we all seek to live more like Jesus each and every day.
