Long sleeves, orange leaves, and pumpkin spice everything (for some of us). IT’S FALL Y’ALL! When we think about the beautiful change that comes with this season, think about the awesomeness of our Creator. “The heavens declare the glory of God, and the expanse proclaims the work of His hands.” (Psalm 19:1) He has declared the truth. Have you seen it?
We are reminded of a similar scenario in Matthew 16. The Pharisees were more concerned with testing Jesus than seeing the obvious truth. The disciples were worried about not having bread to eat. So, Jesus reminded them of the five thousand people He had just fed with five loaves and the four thousand people He had just fed with seven loaves. “Don’t you understand yet?”, He asked them in Matthew 16:9.
You see, the disciples had no reason to doubt and every reason to have faith. The same is true today. The truth of God as proclaimed in His Word is all around us. Trust Him and walk by faith today. Then, pray for someone who missed it so you can share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with them. You could even use the beautiful seasonal change all around us to get started.
